Galatians 6:10 NIV
“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”
MESSAGE
Sometimes you might wonder what’s the point of doing good to people—especially when you don’t see a reward. Paul reminds us here that, we must continue to use our resources to be helpful to other people. Especially in ways that helps them grow spiritually.
QUESTION
What resources do you have that can help someone grow spiritual fruit?
Galatians 6:9 NIV
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Colossians 3:23 NIV
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,”
When doing good seems like it’s going nowhere, remember these two things. You will reap a harvest in a time to come, and you aren’t doing it for people but for God.
Be a blessing to someone today.
PRAYER
Lord, thank you for being Alpha and Omega. As we embark this day, help us to be a blessing to someone in and out our family. God, we’re seeking a fresh strength to keep us from growing weary and help us move as children of you. In Jesus name we receive it now. Amen.
