A farmer on a plow cannot ensure straight lines and do a good job if he’s looking behind him. Looking back as believers of Christ is the beginning to backsliding. Backsliding is reverting to sin, and wrongdoing. God can forgive and save you from backsliding, however, sometimes that lifestyle can consume you to no return.
