I know that feeling all too well. I’m here to tell you—let go of the fear, doubt, and shame, because nothing can separate you from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39)! As Christian women, we’ve all been there—wondering if we’re “doing it wrong.” Whether you’ve had a baby before marriage, struggled with addiction, or faced tough decisions in your past like abortion, know this: God’s love is unconditional, and He accepts you as you are.
Welcome to Encouraging Real Restoration by The Journey Ministry, where real-life struggles meet biblical truths. Here, we focus on restoring your faith through encouragement, powerful testimonies, and the unshakable promises of God’s Word. You don’t need to change to be accepted by God—just come as you are.
When I first came to church, I felt lost. I wore jeans, had an addiction, struggled with patience, and had a mindset that told me, “everyone is against me.” If you had told me back then that I’d be here—shopping for church outfits, addiction-free, with more patience and trust—I wouldn’t have believed it.
But God works in mysterious ways, and His love can transform even the hardest hearts.
This blog is all about real restoration. I’m not here to pretend I have all the answers, but I’ve been through enough to know that God’s grace is bigger than any mistake. If sharing my experiences helps just one person find hope and healing, then that’s a win!

Here’s what you can expect from Encouraging Real Restoration:
- Monthly lead blog posts will be published on the 15th of each month, starting March 15, 2025 at 12:00 AM ET.
- Each blog will address real, raw, and relevant topics like restoring your faith, overcoming shame, building trust with God, and navigating life’s challenges as a Christian woman.
- Join our online Bible study every Tuesday at 7:30 PM Eastern Time. Together, we’ll dive into God’s Word and trust the Holy Spirit to guide our discussions.
- You can also find details about upcoming events via Eventbrite, where we’ll gather for faith-building activitiesand community support.
