HEBREWS 11:1 NIV
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
MESSAGE
When we talk about faith, I’ll include sometimes it’s challenging to maintain. Things look soo uncertain at times but an ounce of faith turns it around.
Hebrews 11 records the history of great faith before us. But, what are the times you remember having great faith? How did it work out for you?
James 1:6 reminds us, when we ask God for miracles or to make ways, we must not be double-minded. James 4:3 tell me when asking with the wrong motive, we won’t receive our requests. John 14:14 is where Jesus said anything we ask in His name we will receive. Remember Hebrews 11:6 days without faith it’s impossible to please God, and it’s good to note God is not a liar.
Check your faith today. If it’s low, pray and give God thanks for all the times in the past He’s brought you through off faith. Then, scan your motives for what you want, pray for it in Jesus name, and prepare for what you are about to receive.
PRAYER
Lord, I thank God for your sacrifice everyday. Your name is power, your name is mercy, your name is life. Thank you for your reminder today that in all things we do, our faith in you is what you are looking for. Help me put down my planning pen and trust you more. Lord, today I’m asking for fresh sight, fresh vision, fresh hope, fresh faith for everyone in this community.
In Jesus name, I pray. Amen!
