DEUTERONOMY 4:7 NIV
“What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the Lord our God is near us whenever we pray to him?”
MESSAGE
Our way of connecting to God is through prayer! You don’t have to set an appointment, and you don’t have wait for others. All you have to do is open your mouth and call on Him! (Or even open your spirit to Him and pray inner prayers)
We might be ‘too tired’ by the end of the day to pray. But let’s practice praying throughout the day also. We can utter “Lord, thank you”, “Lord, I need your strength”, “Lord, I love you”, and make other groanings—He will hear them, and His presence will be with us.
John 14:14 reminds us that when we ask we receive, and James 4:8 that when we draw near to Him, He does to us. James 1:6-7 shows us we must believe what we ask for or shouldn’t expect anything.
God can be acknowledged in each moment. Practicing to acknowledge Him in little builds our faith for when we ask for MUCH. Your Lord is with you always! We are blessed through faith—luck doesn’t exist. Give it to God, endure the process, reap the rewards!
PRAYER
Thank you for being with us always! Lord, you never leave nor forsake me, you are always there. Even in the times I might think I’m alone–I’m not and I thank you for your unfailing love and care. Thank you for teaching me what love is and taking away loneliness! Lord, I want to talk to you more and just acknowledge you in all my ways. Lord, you said knock and it will be opened, seek and I’ll find. God, as I come to you for more of you—thank you for what I’m about to receive!
