JEREMIAH 33:8 NIV
“I will cleanse them from all the sin they have committed against me and will forgive all their sins of rebellion against me.”
MESSAGE
By now the theme of the Bible should be evident. There have been several times when God’s people rebelled, and He had to let them go. However, there was also a redemption attempt to give them fresh start.
Everyday we have access to Jesus Christ, who died for our sins. Repentance is key. We all fall short, but believers don’t stay short. We fall but get back up! Acceptance and repentance are all God requires. When we repent, we humble ourselves to the Lord, and scripture tells us that humbling ourself before Him leads to being lifted up in due time.
PRAYER
Lord, I thank you for your Spirit that is a helper in my weakness. Lord, You keep Your word and I know in due time I will be lifted. Jesus, search my heart and purify me. Cleanse my soul from the selfishness and wavering faith that I can boldly trust and be led by you.
